	Good morning to all, I need to align a part that has perfect symmetry in Z, but I would like to align the various stages using the figure number on the same side. Unfortunately, the “disc caliper on selection” strategy cannot be applied, because I would like to find the outermost point relative to Z zero, but in this case the maximum point can be either on the Z− side or the Z+ side. Is there any workaround that can be used to achieve this? Thank you very much.

<p>
	Hi,
</p>

<p>
	perhaps due my ignorance i can not set correct exposure times for each scan. I thought project template will have stored those values for each individual scan serie.<br>
	So to help my colleagues i want to create a wizard which will have needed part alignment on a table and current tilt of a sensor according to the floor.
</p>

<p>
	For now i am able to obtain tilt information only from measured scan, which can be also used in picture in dialog.<br>
	By recording i know how to setup exposure times and run individual / rotary table scans.
</p>

<p>
	Is there a way to obtain current live image with ability to see actual tilt and changes in exposure times?
</p>

<p>
	My intent is do some sort of kios mode, where in one project i can scan parts from different materials ( thats for exposure times ), ability to manually select points to remove scanned points under a plane and control tilt of a sensors to keep correct view into problematic parts.
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	Thanks for any hints.

	Hello ya'll,<br>

	I was in need of a tool to mass create inspection points. I am using Zeiss Correlate on Photogrammetry data. I am using target markers. My projects all contain around 20 components, and the total target count is ~250. The win32api library requires you to install the pywin32 library.

	I'm not able to use it inside GOM 2021, but I am able to use it on my Windows installation using the pycharm IDE.

<p>
	The reason I can use it on my Windows python installation is because there is a post script you are supposed to run that registers the dll's needed:
</p>

<p>
	python -m pywin32_postinstall -install
</p>

<p>
	So I tried to run that post install script from here and it looked liked it worked, but I am still unable to use the pywin32 library/module inside GOM. I get an error that the win32api module cannot be found.

	Hi,

<p>
	I've been trying for a while to install the xlwings python packages, which requires the 'pywin32' python packages, but I have never been successful.
</p>

<p>
	I'm getting an "ModuleNotFoundError: No module named 'pywintypes'" error when importing the xlwings module.
</p>

<p>
	<span style="background-color:#ffffff;color:#232629;font-size:15px;text-align:left;">This apparently has something to do with pythoncom3x.dll and pywintypes3x.dll which are not installed to the correct location. </span>
</p>

<p>
	I'm using this module to interact directly with Excel (export measurement results, amongst other things).
</p>

<p>
	For the moment I'm using a standalone python installation where I install these Python modules +  a RPC Server module, but this in the end not so nice and maintainable.
</p>

<p>
	Any help to install the xlwings module within the GOM scripting environment would be greatly appreciated !

	i would like to continuously export the current positions of the kinematics used for measurement with Atos Q to another computer in the network in order to create a digital shadow of the system. The idea is that this export runs in the background while the Atos Q and Zeiss Inspect are used usually.

	<br>

	Hello, currently i am very happy with using Zeiss inspect 2025 free version. As of today however it seems all my installations have a license issue, it seems to state that there is no license.  Also after activating a different installation and trying to reinstall 2025, there is somehting going on with licensing in the backend.

<p>
	Perhaps there is a reason why, but currently i do not know. So i am back to using Cyclone 3DR for inspections, which is, in some cases, not working ok.

<p>
	Hello,

<p>
	I am currently encountering one problem associated with the GOM 2021 Kiosk Interface. It seems that while running InstallKioskUser script, we accidentally selected wrong user account and it ended up setting the Kiosk mode into the user account in which we created all the programs and we were doing all our daily activities in that account. Now, as the kiosk mode is installed in that user account, it is not allowing us to go inside. As soon as we try to log in to that user account, GOM Kiosk mode pops up and starts running and when we hit the exit button, it is automatically signing out from that user. Thus, we contacted our Gom partner, but he as well could not figure it out. Here, I want to request for the solution of reversing that script so that we can have our all data back if possible. Please help us out with same.

<p>
	Hello,
</p>

<p>
	I would like to create a user defined check.
</p>

<p>
	I would like to get the maximum from different lenght dimensions (e.g.: A,B,C,D actual value), but only take the value into account if the dimension is within 40 mm.
</p>

<p>
	How can I create such conditional entries? I guess I should combine it with if statement.
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	Best regards,
</p>

<p>
	For anyone using GOM Inspect 2022 you will need to have v2024.0.6191 installed. If you are using a newer version of the extension you cannot connect to VS Code because it requires an API Key. I noticed "auto update" was checked for the extension, after I couldn't connect.

<p>
	Hi,
</p>

<p>
	is there a way to define a custom list keyword type in the SW2023 in the json file? I would like to offer the user more options for a keyword but do not want to allow free string in that field. For example nest of the injected part could be just only: A, B or C (no other choices).
</p>

<p>
	I mean a json like this (but it does not work so):
</p>

<p>
	{<br>
	    "content": {<br>
	        "": [<br>
	            {<br>
	                "description": "Nest",<br>
	                "key": "nest",<br>
	                "type": "list",<br>
	                "value": ["A", "B", "C"]<br>
	            },<br>
	...
</p>

<p>
	Thanks!
</p>

<p>
	Hello,
</p>

<p>
	I was wondering if anyone knew if there was a way to verify if the scanbox is on, if the door is closed, and what measuring volume is detected through the script object window. If not through the object window, then through other means would be appreciated.
</p>

<p>
	Thank you
