I use an ATOS Q mounted to a FOBA, and in our workflow we frequently need to switch between different lenses for different measurement tasks. Since our company is mainly R&D oriented at the moment, we currently operate the system manually rather than through a VMR cell.

I would like to suggest a possible workflow improvement for the calibration process: adding audio guidance that indicates whether the scanner needs to be raised or lowered, and when the correct calibration height or position has been reached.

As many users know, manual calibration requires the operator to physically monitor the scanner and calibration board while also looking at the software screen to confirm the scanner’s position and alignment. This can be somewhat inefficient.

In my opinion, directional audio feedback could make this process much easier and more efficient. For example, the software could provide different sounds or tones to indicate:

• Decrease/increase distance
• Correct height reached
• Centering needed

This would allow the operator to focus directly on the physical setup while receiving real-time guidance from the software, without constantly shifting attention between the scanner and the screen.

I would be very interested to know whether this type of feature has ever been considered, suggested, or implemented in any form. I would also be happy to hear if other users working with manual setups have experienced a similar need.

I am writing a script, but I don't know where I can find variable for DT inspection value from get. Syantax. I could get act value for DN, but don't know how to get DT. Could have anyone helping?

I have found when probing surfaces with the touch probe, the point data is 2.5 mm away from the actual scanned surface with is incorrect.  My probe is 2.5 mm radius, so it seems like there may be a link there.

Does ATOS have a compensation correction for the probe diameter?  Where can I find / adjust this?  I made sure to type in the radius correctly upon calibration.

We are using GOM Inspect Pro with a freshly calibrated touch probe.

preciso scanear 6 peças e vou fazer 6 programas diferentes,gostaria de saber se existe a possibilidade de scanear todas de uma vez dentro de um mesmo programa já que cada peça vem em locais diferentes no espaço,são de pontos diferentes do carro.

I just got this machine from an affiliate and we really don't know anything about it.  

Here's my issue, I'm trying to run the calibration, but the dropdown to import the calibration file is greyed out(see attached).  I've checked and the calibration files for this plate are in the appdata folder.   But I don't know how to load it.  

It came with the a fixture plate table and a nice rotary(pic attached); However, I would like to find an arm like is pictured in my second attachment.  I've reached out to Zeiss but have not received a response yet.  

Can anyone tell me what this mounting arm is called, or send me a link, or recommend any other ways to hold this thing like in the second picture?

Also, if anyone wants to fill me in with some good tips and tricks about using the ATOS, that would be greatly appreciated. 

Previously we would create a Measurement Template Project, then drop the individual scans into it as separate stages in order to output all the reports on a single PDF, pretty standard stuff I imagine.

Using the new Cobot however, we'd like to optimize this process by being able to scan the parts in using the measurement routine, processing them inside the same project, and saving them as individual stages so we can run another scan session inside the same project.

Is this possible?

ich arbeite erst seit kurzem mit einem ATOS Q. Ich habe ein Problem bei der Kalibrierung des 500 Messfeldes und nur bei diesem. Ich habe alles gesäubert und eigebaut, trotzdem kommt immer diese Fehlermeldung. 

Ich hoffe mir kann hier jemand weiterhelfen.

gibt es eine Möglichkeit beim Programm erstellen die Achse vom Drehtisch zu sperren. Diese ist relativ träge und ich würd sie gerne bei manchen Programmen ausschließen.

need help to resolve this 

beim heutigen Scanvorgang ploppte eine Fehlermeldung am rechten Bildschirmrand auf. Der T-Hawk 2 Scanner war in dieser Zeit ohne Funktion.

Wir verdächtigen die Kabelverbindung des Scanners.

seit der SW2025 schaltet sich unser Sensor (Triple Scan) nicht mehr automatisch nach 1 oder 2h Inaktivität ab. Wo kann ich das wieder aktivieren?

I’m wondering whether ATOS/ZEISS Inspect can align multiple scans without reference markers, using point cloud geometry (e.g. ICP) only.

If so, how does the performance of this method compare to that of marker-based alignment?

Any official guidance or reference papers on this would be much appreciated.

ich habe einen T-Scan Hawk 2 jetzt seit etwa eineinhalb Jahren im Einsatz, und bisher lief alles absolut problemlos.

Seit kurzer Zeit habe ich allerdings das Problem, dass das Livebild während des Scans ruckelt und verzögert läuft. (siehe Video)

Ich kann mir das überhaupt nicht erklären an den Einstellungen selbst habe ich nichts verändert. Das einzige, was in letzter Zeit passiert ist: Das Verbindungskabel war defekt und wurde durch ein neues Kabel von Zeiss ersetzt. Ich bin mir nicht sicher, ob das Problem direkt nach dem Kabelwechsel aufgetreten ist, aber ungefähr seitdem habe ich es bemerkt.

Hat jemand von euch vielleicht eine Idee, woran das liegen könnte?

Könnte es eventuell am neuen Kabel, an einer Treiber- oder Softwareeinstellung oder etwas anderem liegen?

Bin für jeden Hinweis dankbar!

erster Beitrag 😀 von mir als Neuling Zeiss Inspect. Ich hoffe, dass ist kein alter Hut. Ich habe die Suche benutzt aber Nichts gefunden.

Vom Beruf her bin ich Entwickler und beschäftige mich mit GPS. Ein Kollege fragte mich, ob man in Zeiss Inspect auch 2D Geometrien als Soll einladen kann, über welche man 2D Konturscans legen kann.

Dabei wäre es wichtig nicht Flächen als Bezüge auszuwählen sondern Linien, um den Konturscan auszurichten. Die Zeichnung besteht aus Linienformtoleranzen welche in jeden beligigen Schnitt eines sehr langen Teiles gelten. Die Formabweichung in der Tiefe wird beispielsweise mit Gerdheitstoleranzen definiert.

Als Gedankenexperiment zur Erläuterung wäre beipielsweise ein krummer Zylinder genannt. Der Zweipunktdurchmesser kann in jedem Querschnitt passen obwohl die Form nicht passt. Statt einem lineraren Größenmaß (Durchmesser) haben wir halt ein Profil, dessen ausgerichteter Querschnitt in jedem Schnitt innerhalb definierter Linienformspezifikationen liegen muss.

Bietet Zeiss Inspect die Möglichkeit "Linien und Punkte" als Bezüge auszuwählen und damit Auswertungen in 2D zu machen?
