<p>
	While testing to make sure everything was working the same in 2025 vs 2022 after installing the t-hawk 2 license, the 3D view within the project was skipping all over the place/ lagging while scanning around the part and this "GPU slow" icon popped up. Hardware rendering is enabled as it should be. I created a new measuring device configuration after installing the new t-hawk 2 license, as well as calibrated with the panel/hyperscale. The nvidia drivers are up to date, and windows is set to force the GPU as the rendering device. The only thing i'm noticing that may be an issue (i might be wrong) is that the inspect 2025 is showing both T Scan Hawk and T-Scan Hawk 2 tabs. Is the original t-hawk license somehow interfering with the new scanning? Any help is appreciated.
</p>

<p>
	Thank you

<p>
	Hi,
</p>

<p>
	I use an <strong>ATOS Q</strong> mounted to a <b>FOBA</b>, and in our workflow we frequently need to switch between different lenses for different measurement tasks. Since our company is mainly R&amp;D oriented at the moment, we currently operate the system manually rather than through a VMR cell.
</p>

<p>
	I would like to suggest a possible workflow improvement for the calibration process: adding <strong>audio guidance</strong> that indicates whether the scanner needs to be raised or lowered, and when the correct calibration height or position has been reached.
</p>

<p>
	As many users know, manual calibration requires the operator to physically monitor the scanner and calibration board while also looking at the software screen to confirm the scanner’s position and alignment. This can be somewhat inefficient.
</p>

<p>
	In my opinion, directional audio feedback could make this process much easier and more efficient. For example, the software could provide different sounds or tones to indicate:
</p>

<ul>
	<li>
		Decrease/increase distance
	</li>
	<li>
		Correct height reached
	</li>
	<li>
		Centering needed
	</li>
</ul>

<p>
	This would allow the operator to focus directly on the physical setup while receiving real-time guidance from the software, without constantly shifting attention between the scanner and the screen.
</p>

<p>
	I would be very interested to know whether this type of feature has ever been considered, suggested, or implemented in any form. I would also be happy to hear if other users working with manual setups have experienced a similar need.
</p>

<p>
	Thank you very much.
</p>

<p>
	My project have 100's of BestFit alignments and one RPS alignment.<br>
	For some reason a guy programmed the BestFit alignment based on RPS. But here the problem is the BestFit alignment creation has to be based on Pre-alignment instead of RPS.<br>
	So normal thing to do is manually open each BestFit alignment and change the Heirarchy to Prealignment , which will work 100%. <br>
	But here the problem is i have to do for all 100's of alignments.<br>
	<br>
	So I recorded the script for one Alignment change and try to do for all other alignments. but the GOM does not allow this in scripting API

	Good day,
</p>

<p style="background-color:#ffffff;color:#353c41;font-size:14px;">
	I have found when probing surfaces with the touch probe, the point data is 2.5 mm away from the actual scanned surface with is incorrect.  My probe is 2.5 mm radius, so it seems like there may be a link there.
</p>

<p style="background-color:#ffffff;color:#353c41;font-size:14px;">
	Does ATOS have a compensation correction for the probe diameter?  Where can I find / adjust this?  I made sure to type in the radius correctly upon calibration.
</p>

<p style="background-color:#ffffff;color:#353c41;font-size:14px;">
	We are using GOM Inspect Pro with a freshly calibrated touch probe.

<p>
	We've recently upgraded from our aging GOM triple scan to a shiny new Zeiss ScanCobot and have some teething issues in regards to getting our old workflow to work with the new software/hardware
</p>

<p>
	Previously we would create a Measurement Template Project, then drop the individual scans into it as separate stages in order to output all the reports on a single PDF, pretty standard stuff I imagine.
</p>

<p>
	Using the new Cobot however, we'd like to optimize this process by being able to scan the parts in using the measurement routine, processing them inside the same project, and saving them as individual stages so we can run another scan session inside the same project.
</p>

<p>
	Is this possible?

	We recently had our Scanbox 5120 cell re-located and re-calibrated by our local GOM partner, Capture3D.  We were provided with new project templates for each measuring volume that included the latest cell calibration information.  We were told that we would need to update any existing project templates with this new VMR cell calibration by dragging our project into the new template and then saving the result as the updated template.  However, when we do this, our existing measurement series data gets deleted, which results in extensive re-programming time.  Is there another method to update the cell calibration information in existing project templates?

<p>
	Hi everyone,
</p>

<p>
	I’m wondering whether ATOS/ZEISS Inspect can align multiple scans without reference markers, using point cloud geometry (e.g. ICP) only.
</p>

<p>
	If so, how does the performance of this method compare to that of marker-based alignment?
</p>

<p>
	Any official guidance or reference papers on this would be much appreciated.
</p>

<p>
	<br>
	Thanks in advance!
</p>

	Does anyone know if there is a way to access the speed settings on the turn table, either in the software or using code? The start and stop acceleration is too fast for loos parts sitting on the table. Yes i know i could use that black putty that came with the system but it would be nice to access the motor controls. the larger turn tables are much smoother.

<p>
	<span style="color:#000000;">Hallo zusammen,</span>
</p>

<p>
	<span style="color:#000000;">ich habe einen T-Scan Hawk 2 jetzt seit etwa eineinhalb Jahren im Einsatz, und bisher lief alles absolut problemlos. </span>
</p>

<p>
	<span style="color:#000000;">Seit kurzer Zeit habe ich allerdings das Problem, dass das Livebild während des Scans ruckelt und verzögert läuft. (siehe Video)</span>
</p>

<p>
	<span style="color:#000000;">Ich kann mir das überhaupt nicht erklären an den Einstellungen selbst habe ich nichts verändert. Das einzige, was in letzter Zeit passiert ist: Das Verbindungskabel war defekt und wurde durch ein neues Kabel von Zeiss ersetzt. Ich bin mir nicht sicher, ob das Problem direkt nach dem Kabelwechsel aufgetreten ist, aber ungefähr seitdem habe ich es bemerkt.</span>
</p>

<p>
	<span style="color:#000000;">Hat jemand von euch vielleicht eine Idee, woran das liegen könnte?</span>
</p>

<p>
	<span style="color:#000000;">Könnte es eventuell am neuen Kabel, an einer Treiber- oder Softwareeinstellung oder etwas anderem liegen?</span>
</p>

<p>
	<span style="color:#000000;">Bin für jeden Hinweis dankbar!</span>
</p>

<p>
	<span style="color:#000000;">Viele Grüsse</span>
</p>

<p>

<p>
	Hallo,
</p>

<p>
	erster Beitrag <span class="ipsEmoji">😀</span> von mir als Neuling Zeiss Inspect. Ich hoffe, dass ist kein alter Hut. Ich habe die Suche benutzt aber Nichts gefunden.
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	Vom Beruf her bin ich Entwickler und beschäftige mich mit GPS. Ein Kollege fragte mich, ob man in Zeiss Inspect auch 2D Geometrien als Soll einladen kann, über welche man 2D Konturscans legen kann.
</p>

<p>
	Dabei wäre es wichtig nicht Flächen als Bezüge auszuwählen sondern Linien, um den Konturscan auszurichten. Die Zeichnung besteht aus Linienformtoleranzen welche in jeden beligigen Schnitt eines sehr langen Teiles gelten. Die Formabweichung in der Tiefe wird beispielsweise mit Gerdheitstoleranzen definiert.
</p>

<p>
	Als Gedankenexperiment zur Erläuterung wäre beipielsweise ein krummer Zylinder genannt. Der Zweipunktdurchmesser kann in jedem Querschnitt passen obwohl die Form nicht passt. Statt einem lineraren Größenmaß (Durchmesser) haben wir halt ein Profil, dessen ausgerichteter Querschnitt in jedem Schnitt innerhalb definierter Linienformspezifikationen liegen muss.
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	Bietet Zeiss Inspect die Möglichkeit "Linien und Punkte" als Bezüge auszuwählen und damit Auswertungen in 2D zu machen?
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	Danke im Voraus und viele Grüße
</p>

<p>
	Andreas

<p>
	I'm currently using my T-scan Hawk 2 on a new computer and I'm having an issue with the 3d view of the in process point cloud. The grey point cloud along with the green scan lines are scaled too large. This is making it extremely hard to see the features I'm scanning. I've looked all though the software and can't find any location to change this.
