[Ri...]
So I have not done this in a while. I have two features I need to export points to a specified file then recall those points in to two individual 2d Curve features. I can manually perform this, but I'm failing to make it automatic. Any help is appreciated.
[Ow...]
Yeah, I haven't done it in several years either so the details are sparse but, when you choose "Read Nominals" in the geometry manipulations and choose the file path to the ASCII nominals you're storing the actuals, if you select Import to CNC in the same window, I believe it does it every time the program is run? Seems like the getting the ASCII data to export the actuals correctly in the correct format was troublesome the last time I did it but, is critical. [Ri...]
Thank you, but that opened up another can of worms for me. 🤣 Importing via your instructions creates a single segment, air scanning occurs. I'm now going to guess I will have to use PCM? I have a broken surface (2 surfaces), I scan them with a 2d Line as a single line (Scan one surface, skip to the next surface). From this I want to do the following. 1. Export the actuals to a specific text file in the program folder. 2. Import the text file into a 2D Curve feature. 3. Evaluate in a Profile of a Line Characteristic. 4. Its possible I am approaching this all wrong. I want to use Freeform, but I don't have a model. Calypso 2021 will not let me create a CAD surface, then a Section to utilize Freeform. (way to go Zeiss 🙄 😡 )

[Ri...]
I'm not sure. I've never used that method. Time to start reading....
