Autorun Auto Numbering System

I apologize for not knowing the exact terms, but here goes. I use auto run to measure 2,4 or 8 cavity molded parts at one time. So for instance I run a 4 cavity autorun, calypso will output the chr, fet and hdr files with a number addended to the end. So for instance I will see " 81-2587_revcc_18010_chr" 81-2587_revcc is my part # and rev which is the file name of my program. But if i run the 4 cavites all four parts are labeled with the 18010. Is it possible for that number to be incrementally changed for each cavity, vs. each pallet ran?

I am missing a meaning of word "cavity" - lost in translation.
For part numbering there is autoincrement field "Part number".

Let me be your dictionary 🤣
A cavity is one of several identical forms in a plastic or similar mold.
8 cavities = 8 identical parts made in one go.

Thanks for your reply - now I have a little image of that meaning. Like from plastic models parts, ready to pop from frame to make a model of car.
So cavity on protocol is just number same as others - informing about position in mold? How it's different from "nest"?

But when i run a program with 4 nests, it doesnt output each one as 1,2,3,4, it has them all as the same run.

It has to be setup in autorun input.
I tryied this with cavity - so every fixture position can have pre-setted number for cavity - same for nest.

But are you sure this number will show up in the name of the CHR etc. files? Because that's what Darren was asking for. I don't know unfortunately, because I don't use these files for anything and so never looked at how the filename is built.

So I checked the default names for the plan and you can add it to the formula.
getRecordHead("cavity")
In the autorun settings on the palette, edit the cavity number in all positions ( on 1. set 1; on 2. set 2; ... ) and that's it.

Or I didn't quite understand the problem.
