[Gr...]
I'm migrating some Zeiss machines from standalone units to networked. I've got most of it down so far, but I can't seem to find out how to change the user directory. If I go to Extras -> Settings ->Miscellaneous, then click the "System" tab, I can see the default user directory is listed. However, the directory appears unable to be changed, as it is greyed out and there does not appear to be any buttons or edit function even when logged in as Master. I'm attempting to change this directory to a networked location so the users have the same permissions and passwords across all devices. Is there a way to change the default user directory location? This is on Calypso 7.2 / 2021 Service Pack 1 (7.2.04)
[Da...]
You have to log in as MASTER, then Extras-Environment-Paths. Then you can change it to whatever you want.
[Gr...]
I only see the following subheadings in that page when logged in as Master: Default Path for Measurement Plans Actual Values Default Path for Result Files
[Da...]
Sorry. I misread what you were trying to do. Check your permissions, Extra- User- Privileges. Make sure you are set up to make those changes. You still need to be logged in as master to change these.
