[Da...]
I would like to edit the file location for Files inside the program folder Actuals Protcoll Protheadpara Protocal Startfile Anyone done this before? I am trying to run 3 CMM from the same Network Program but after it checks the base alignment it rights file like Base Alignment to the program folder. If you have two or more machines using the same program the second machine overnights the base alignment that was saved by the first machine. It also does it for the Header data. Any thoughts on fixing this problem?
[Öz...]
" fixed directory for actulas". This setting may work. Can you try it?
[Ja...]
We are having similar issues. Today, we ended up creating new server usernames and seperated our program folders into "CMM 1 Programs", "CMM 2 Programs", and "CMM 3 Programs". each CMM has a unique server name (zeiss 1, zeiss2, zeiss3) and the permissions for the folders are limited to the programmers, and each username for each machine (zeiss1 only has access to "CMM 1 Programs" folder, zeiss2 only has access to "CMM 2 Programs", etc.). [Ch...]
I store my programs on a network and then copy them down to each machine several time a day. Then I just exclude those files (the ones Dan mentioned) from the copy operation.
[Ja...]
I think Ozgur has the solution for you. I had the same problem until I changed to "fixed directory for actuals". I haven't had a problem since. It's under Extras-Settings-Environment-Paths.
