I have enough hours to apply for senior level, but think I should probably try the technologist level first. I see 2009 certification, is there a 2018 ? I need something flexible and self paced. I can't dedicate a week away for in person training Any recommendations on a good one, or ones to avoid ? It looks like $1000 range for cost. [Da...] Posted May 30, 2022 Share Posted May 30, 2022 As far as I know, the 2018 test is not yet released. If you use GD&T regularly, and know the material well, go straight for senior. It is a tough test, but not so tough you can't skip technologist. I don't know of any good self-paced course material. I can highly recommend IIGDT (with Greg Hetland) for training, but his is all live training. He does have online seminars through Indicate at (https://indicatetechnologies.thinkific.com/). Don't expect to get other stuff done - the courses are aggressively paced. You probably want the advanced applications at least for the senior cert.
