How do i make it so that when im programming with a +X Styli, Calypso will notice that and make all my Clearance Groups -X?
Calypso seems to recognize circles correctly, but that's about it, everything else goes to +Z

Additionally, is there a way to have a clearance direction "Normal to probe shaft" when working with some of the in-between angles?

To the 1st part of the question , I believe it is ..

Resources ..stylus system ...preassign stylus system for measurement plan autom.

I believe there is an option for the 2nd part of the question , normal to the shaft it just escapes me at the moment.

Good luck !

To your 2nd question, this is something that was finally added in 2022. Up until 2022, the Clearance Distance was always Parallel to the Axis of the Feature, and the Retract Distance was Perpendicular to the Surface of the Feature. If you had to get into an OD slot at a 45°, there was no easy way (I would just cheat and use position points). Starting in 2022, you will be able to now select normal to the axis of the stylus which will easily solve your problem.
