Super simple distance Q, Wall thickness.

So i have this part, its got a cone on one the exterior surface, think of a bowl, and on the interior there are several conical form pockets that are concentric to the exterior cone.
Simple question, how do i get a "Wall thickness" on a 3 dimensional feature?

It should be super simple, tolerance is wide open due to it being a 2 place decimal, but i got another programmer on it and were both stumped!

Note...... All the distances ive tried to the cone go to the centerline

Can you use the "Distance Check" in the select or create geometries from CAD model list. I've used this feature many times. It will put two points opposing each other and a 3d polar distance.

I do.

But i was hoping to get away with not rescanning a feature twice.
I have already found a workaround, creating a perpendicular feature between a line on the outer cone and a point on the inner feature. I set my nominals to be exactly at X & Y zero and perfect angle, but this problem seems so simple that I was hoping i could do it without rescanning the outer cone.

but for the hell of it, i would like to hear your solution.

The most frequently asked question on this forum. Sounds like a pickup line. 🤣

Every new post should include the following

I have Curves, I don't have FFS or PCM. I'm running 4.6.
I'm trying to measure.......

Use, Circle on a Cone to a Circle on a Cone.
Use "Caliper distance"
Set as needed for wall thickness.
