Hello i cannot fix it
Contura G2
It says "Incorrect number of points"
i have this error while calibration, some stylus going fine, some having problems with some positions
for example
My reference sphere is 20 mm
Stylus is D1,5_40
I do only a simple angles X+ X- Y+ Y- and A0 B0

The reference sphere is fully accesable for choosen angles, there is no colision with shaft.
i found this solution,
https://carl-zeiss-industrial-metrology ... -of-points
and i did reference position this two methods

the reference sphere angle is changed
from last fine qualification, is it may be the problem ?

___Edit
In sytlus system i deleted all problematic angles, set them again and it works 🙂

I've had this happen multiple times after our machine was calibrated. I believe some probes get corrupted. What I found to work is to delete the probe that's giving you the error (not the entire stylus system) You can't delete a probe no. that's active so you will need to switch to a different probe no. Next, recreate that probe and manually qualify it.

I had the same issue a few months ago immediately following a Zeiss calibration. I'm under the assumption that something happened to the stylus data for certain probes. To limp by until I had some dedicated free time I did a geometry re-qualification to get me by. (Luckily the machine with issues is primarily used in some of our more open tolerances so I was able to sacrifice accuracy) When I was able to get some free time I went ahead and deleted each styli from the stylus system one by one and added new ones with a passive qualification. Since then I've had no issues when running the passive qualification program. Be sure that the # of stylus and the name is the exact same to avoid issues. Hope this helps.
