[Jo...]
At the risk of sounding like "that guy", does anyone have just a shotgun manual for carrying out basic functions with the Curve/Freeform add-on? I would like to begin learning how to use it before I attend my training, if that's even feasible. We don't do a lot with unknown contours of surfaces and turbines, or things of that nature. We do a lot of work that is very GD&T-heavy, specifically surface profiles, and more specifically, surface profiles with no datum reference. From my limited understanding of it, it can allow you to check a profile in this situation and "release" the influence created by the base alignment. An example would be a .001" profile of a rectangular pocket, with rads in all four corners, profiled all around with no datum reference frame.
