Multiple Stylii in simulation

I have a question I am sure someone will know the answer to. I am fairly new to programming offline, all my programming was done at a CMM computer. I am using different stylii (ex. a 1mm and a 2mm) in the same program. When I go to use the simulation, it will run the first stylus, but when it goes to grab the next one, it alarms out and will not proceed. All the stylii are defined in the probe rack in the offline seat I am using. I was just wondering if there is something I am doing wrong, or if this is something that cannot be done. Thanks for the help.

This should work as expected, but to help you we need the exact error message.
Normally, when it can't find a requested stylus in the rack, it should display the window for manual exchange like on the physical CMM. In simulation you just confirm it and it should exchange the stylus and continue. The probe path immediatly afterwards may be incorrect then, but this is a common effect in simulation anyway.

Were all the styli created (SSC) and imported correctly?

I just tried running it again and when it tries to change probes in the program, it stops and an error appears with an error report. When we open the error report, it does not tell us what the error is. Have tried this on multiple programs, along with multiple people's programs. I cannot just tr and load the next stylus and run the part of the program that it checks, it will alarm out instantly. I hope this makes sense.

I realize it's been about a week since you posted this and chances are that you've restarted Calypso, but I've gotten that error before and all I did was exit completely out of calypso and restart it to fix the issue. If this doesn't help, you could always re-export your styli from the CMM computer and re-import onto the simulation computer.
