How to report multiple 2d Curves in a single dxf file

I have multiple 2d curves in my feature list. I want to report a single dxf file for the data. What is the best possible option for me?

I have tried recalling features in a points cloud and then exporting them as dxf. But it takes only raw data and ignores the probe radius correction via translation (applied to an unknown curve) to report the actual points.

Thank you.

Hi Chandra,
If you go to Resources/Results to File there are export options at the bottom for curves. One of them is DXF. You can also right click on any curve and select Export Points, but this will give you individual files.

As an aside, DXF is for exporting CAD geometry, not results directly. If you want geometry to import into a CAD program I would suggest exporting curves separately, as you have more control over the imported curves. If you need to export results, I'm not sure DXF will do that without some other software to calculate them.

I understand. Personally, I like doing single files because otherwise you just have a big blob of points in SW and you have to try and select them to create sketch's, etc. Individual files will give you selectable groups of points to create sketch's from. I find it much more manageable. Just my 2 cents. 🙂
