[Ja...] Posted February 25, 2022 Share Posted February 25, 2022 Hello All, At the start of shift this evening, I was informed this CMM is having an issue with attempting calibration of the Master Probe. These two error messages appear and the calibration process is halted. This CMM is a Contura, with a Vast XXT TL3, running Calypso 2019. Any assistance would be appreciated. [Ow...] Posted February 28, 2022 Share Posted February 28, 2022 The 1st error is fairly common on XXT CMM's. With no known changes to the master probe whatsoever, occasionally this error pops up and I've hit OK every time with no further accuracy problems or issue. Is the error being created when they reference the sphere position? If so, maybe it's not aligned close enough to the chosen position causing the not enough points error? FYI the reference sphere position is what calibrates the master probe and you shouldn't be qualifying it a calibration program with macros . All that said, before I did anything, I'd shut the CMM and computer down and restart everything. Lot's of unusual problems fixed by doing so.
