[To...] Posted February 23, 2022 Share Posted February 23, 2022 Imagine 2 parallel planes that are parallel to Datum B. These 2 planes are .0938 apart. The top plane is located from the highest point of considered feature and the bottom plane is located from the lowest point of the considered feature. Your tolerance says these 2 planes should be .0005 apart. Which means all of the points on the considered feature need to fall within these 2 planes. In this case, the measured value and the deviation are the same number. Note: it is not +/-, It is + only.
