How to insert a probe change mid program?

I have a RDS-CAA head that is new to me, I want to change a probe angle where i want and not where the machine is wanting to change it. Could someone help me out, Example: I am beeping a feature and the next feature would require a probe ange change, the machine wants to go way away from the feature and come back. There is plenty of room for a slight angle change without having to travel that far. Any help would be appreciated, Thanks

Sub-clearance planes would do this. Caution must be taken as crashing is easily done. For every set of features a new sub-clearance plane is needed.

I would use position points.

You may have to use more position points to get the CMM to a safe area for an angle change.
