MEASURING DISTANCE BETWEEN TWO FREE FORM SURFACES

I'm hoping to get some help. I have a part that is similar to a ring, just not perfectly round, and I need to report the thickness of it all around. I've used freeform surfaces to get profiles of each side, but I cant figure out how to get a measurement between the two freeform surfaces. If anybody knows how to do this or knows of a better way to calculate this, it would be extremely helpful. Unfortunately I can't add a picture of the model, but this is similar to the design, except for uniform thickness throughout

If this is 2d, I think you are looking for 2Dcurve.You can create the geometry by sectioning the model or even recall points into a new 2D curve. The under curve distances characteristics, recall the "inner" and "outer" curve. You have choices for avg, min, max there.
