[Ri...]
I have come across a situation that is repeatable using our Offline Seat. I have to reach under a large circular plate (Ø18.900 inch), this requires several approaches from all axis (X+, X-, Y+, Y-). After creating my Polyline and or Circular scan (from any axis) and setting my articulation values, I save the feature (Plane). If I edit the feature, I am finding the articulation values (A and B) change to one of the settings for all Polylines and or Circular scans. This, on my offline seat, creates multiple "Collision" errors visually and generated in the Planner panel. I have not tested this on an active CMM as of this posting. This would be catastrophic to the part and or our RDS XXT module if an operator edited, possibly viewed the feature and changes happen without any notification. Has anyone else had this issue? Can anyone verify this issue? The attached image, the articulation should be A0,B-90 working from the X+ axis, not A0,B90.Articulation error.jpg

I reported a similar issue to Zeiss this week. viewtopic.php?f=13&t=5082 My issue was using 2 different circle paths with different probe angles to measure a part and then adding a position point (from the icon) which would change the probe angle of the 2nd path to match the first path. This happened on both the offline system and the cmm. When adding a position point via the joystick button, there was no issue. They are submitting it to Germany. [Ri...]
How do I report this to Zeiss?
[To...]
Call the hotline. That's what I had to do. If you can get them to do a web meeting, it'll be easier for you to show them the problem. Then, they will need to test it on their systems. If they concur, they will submit a bug fix to Germany.
[Jo...]
I am seeing a similar situation in planner, where the XXT head doesnt line up with the feature being measured in the simulation, and appears to measure in space... and i ve also had the simulation load mchine and probe head off axis ( so it looks like the machine was knocked over onits side.
