Units of measurement

This one is new to me. When using Calypso 6.8, on my Contura G2, the programs will switch from
Inch to Metric when opening the routine. I have not been able to narrow it down to a specific operator log in because it seems random. Do any of you know where to even begin looking. I've been at this a while and have never come across this. Thanks in advance. 😃

As i looked units are stored in meas. plan and somewhat at user settings in language.

Units are default set in Extras - Settings - Environment - Language.

Every measurement plan will use by default whatever it is set to there.

However you can "lock" the units for a specific measurement plan if you go to Resources - Features Settings Editor (Characteristics Settings Editor works as well - Units - Length unit.

I will double check both of those, again. The program will run in inches for the week we are machining the parts. Save the program then when we reopen its still in inches. Then the Gremlin pokes its ugly head out and it is back to Metric. I'm stumped.

I agree with Richard.
If you leave your length units set as "Default", then itll be whatever the default settings are for a given machine.
If you set the length unit to inch or MM then it should stay that way no matter the particular machine default.

Now if your problem is that you are running a program on a machine, then you reopen the program on that same machine and it changes, then you have a legit gremlin.

I have a gremlin. I will try to uninstall the reinstall Calypso. I may have to get rid of all the user profile, we have way too many in my opinion. There may be something buried there.
