Poly Line....

So I got this part today with the cad. It has a channel running through the bottom for a rubber seal. Channel is about 3.5mm deep 3 or so wide and goes all around the part.. Go into the model, click said channel which gives me the plane on the bottom. Exactly what I want to see, But........

The poly line the cad shows is almost right up against the edge of the channel. I need it to be in the center so I can scan around the radius of the part. So, Why is calypso putting the scan path off to one side and how do I get it in the middle of the channel??

I've changed numerous settings healed till I cant heal anymore etc...lol.... Kinda stumped....

If screen shots are needed I can drop some into the post...

Hi Mike,
Calypso uses a default distance of 1mm (.039) from the surface edge to create a Multi Polyline. You can delete what Calypso creates and create a new Multi Polyline in the Strategy window. When you do you can set the edge distance to whatever you want until it's at the location you want. You may have to try a few times. If it create more polylines than you need, you can just delete them and only use the ones you want.

Open the polyline and use the trashcan to delete all of the points. Then, at the lower right, click Create enter 1.5 or so and see if it ends up where you wanted.

I killed the one that came up and then proceeded to load another from cad.

Went in the center as I wanted. The original one was offset. The new one I created was A ok/

Thanks guys
