Convert from RC List to RC-CAA issue

I've run into this several times now.
When changing from a stylus that has been created as a n RC List to an RC-CAA stylus, you are forced to edit every feature to ensure the articulation angle is correct.

Example:
I have a Cylinder with 3 circle scans. Each scan in the RC List is A90, B90.
I change the stylus to an RC-CAA stylus, use the Features editor to set the stylus tip and then the RDS angle, A90, B90.
The first circle changed properly
The third circle changed properly
The second circle decided to be A0, B0.

Worst case is, the software throwing in what seems to be an arbitrary value.
Same scenario, A90, B90.
Except this time after changing to the other stylus, one circle was A-2.5, B90.

Where the heck are these bogus articulation angles coming from?

I am in the habit of closing and reopening when making changes because sometimes Calypso does odd things.

So you are manually setting the angle in the Feature Editor for each Feature?

I'm going to add this to the wish list.
It would be quite simple to convert from RC-List to RC-CAA.
1. The angles are angles, the capable increment of degrees doesn't change when the increment is the same for both methods.
2. Changing the probe should automatically make the main stylus "Down", its the default name for all RC-CAA styli.
3. After switching probes, DO NOT CHANGE THE A ND B VALUES OF THE STYLUS! (That's a hint for Zeiss).

Rick,

I had the same issue when we got our CAA head. When I was converting the program Calypso would sometimes
just come up with random angles. I had to go back and checked it pick the right ones.
