[Da...] Posted January 13, 2022 Share Posted January 13, 2022 Is it the adapter plate or the stylus? Does the master stylus still loosen if you thread it onto another adapter plate? I would stay away from loctite. If you ever have to replace your master stylus you might never be able to remove it or end up damaging the stylus plate. [Ro...] Posted January 13, 2022 Share Posted January 13, 2022 Purple loctite 222 is made especially for small diameter screws that may need to be removed. Its a low strength formula, good for mitigating shock and vibrations. I use it for scope mounts and all the "tactical" goodies i put on the end of my hunting things. I think it would be perfect for this application. But i would agree that there is definitely something wrong with the thread on your styli or base.
