We have a Duramax running Calypso 2020. The machine has been in use for months, we acquired it from one our sister companies. I have been having issues with, when I attempt to open a program, the inspection file is missing. Then I have to re load the program from where I store all the Master programs, losing all the run information from the version we lost. Anyone have any thoughts? Words of Wisdom? 💡

Have you tried calling support at 1-800-327-9735?
If you don't have an active software maintenance agreement (SMA) and can't call support without having to pay for it, try these suggestions.

If you don't have good I.T. support at your facilities and you're running the programs off a network, the first thing I'd try is to move all the programs to the CMM computer in the default assigned file path "C:\Users\Public\Documents\Zeiss\CALYPSO\workarea\inspections".
With no programs open in Calypso, Go to extras, settings, environment and then select the paths tab to assign file path. If you have more than one user on the system be sure to check the box to apply for all users.

If you are running the programs off the CMM computer already and the default paths are being used correctly, I'd suspect a system or security/firewall issue and reinstall the calypso version you're running.

I run my programs from a Users\Public folder to keep windows from interfering with Calypso read and writes to the inspection folder.

Inside of the inspection folder is a idmeaspoints folder with the .zmp files that hold the data from save measured points.

I had this issue ( and still do in a sense) when we installed our Duramax next to our automation cell.

I ended up having to save copies of the programs I wanted to use while logged into the Shop login due to the credentials issue I received from one login to another. ( My normal login has far more rights than the login checking parts.)

Once I started making copies with the shop login my issues went away.
