Formulas

So there's a lot of overlap between PCM and formulas. There's a PCM instruction manual that lists all the variables that Calypso can work with. Understanding how Calypso calls out variables in a formula is a necessary step to writing them. If you've got a specific problem in mind, post it and let's work through it.

If you check the help manuals on your PC, there's probably a file labeled "Calypso_02_PCM.pdf". Mine was located at:
C:/Program Files (x86)Zeiss/CALPYSO 7.0/userinfo/manuals/en.

to start experimenting
right click on any box, if there is formula option click on it
on the following window, click on function
it will take you to function and parameter list
if you don't have PCM, first 3 menus contain most functions available to you _see Pictures 1-3_

you can add variable/parameter by going in Plan > Advanced > Parameter _see picture 4_

once you have added features and characteristics to your plan, you can also use all those actuals and nominals in you formulas _see Picture 5_

picture 6 is a sample of final outcome

PCM is really not easy, but once you're in, you feel like a real programmer! 😎
You will take your programs to the next level.
The only limit to the possibilities is your imagination!
