I leave everything up & running on normal weekends, unless I see bad weather coming through.
If the machines will be unused for 4+ days, then I shut it all down.

I always recommend to my students to shut everything down at least once a week, to at least clean out the temp memory. If you use a lot of freeform and curve this is especially important. I have always found that it just helps Calypso from bogging down.

I never turn the power off to the air dryer.
I usually will keep everything on throughout the week and turn the speed control knob on the joystick box to zero before leaving for the day.
If I have the portable rotary table set-up, I'll leave it on all week and weekend so I don't have to re-reference it when powering back up.
