[Ra...]
Do you guys leave the machines just running or do you guys actually power everything down?
[Ke...]
I leave everything up & running on normal weekends, unless I see bad weather coming through. If the machines will be unused for 4+ days, then I shut it all down.
[Te...]
I always recommend to my students to shut everything down at least once a week, to at least clean out the temp memory. If you use a lot of freeform and curve this is especially important. I have always found that it just helps Calypso from bogging down.
[Er...]
If it is just the weekend we power down. The electrical supply here is not good. Shutting down for a week I even unplug from the wall.
[Ra...]
Power down the air dryer as well I suppose? Power off from switch or do you guys use the software to turn it off ?
[Ow...]
I never turn the power off to the air dryer. I usually will keep everything on throughout the week and turn the speed control knob on the joystick box to zero before leaving for the day. If I have the portable rotary table set-up, I'll leave it on all week and weekend so I don't have to re-reference it when powering back up.
