[Cr...]
Hi, I am quite new at calypso and with the handicap of v4.0. Does anyone know how to set the x, y, z values when the True position is reported in custom reports for this version? I have the same problem with profile features. [Ro...]
The X,Y, Z values, as well as the other nominal values of your features, are set in the feature itself. Open the feature and set your nominals there. When it goes to use those features in a characteristic, it will pull the nominal values from there, unless your evaluating in a different alignment than in the feature itself. Then it will transpose the nominal values based on your new alignment. If you're trying to match the origin and alignment of a blueprint, you can use the Special button in the characteristic to move/rotate the alignment to match your desired origin for reporting. [Cr...]
Thanks Robert. I have been checking the nominal in the features and characteristics because not always match but setting the right alignment it works. Second Issue I found was that the calculate value did not match with the calculated value by maths. The issue was the evaluation method of the feature, I do not why it was established as "outer tangential element" so I put it as "Gauss element"and done. Additionally I set the option depicted in the post shown below in order to see the values in the custom report. viewtopic.php?t=1288
