line profile point to point.

I am trying to get this line profile callout from point D to Point B
I created intersections on four points where the plains meet on the corners. Then I recalled 3 3d lines using the intersections. The 3d scene shows me a continuous line from point D to B. Is there a way to construct this as a curve that I can then callout as a line profile? Am I going about creating the feature all wrong?

Usually you make cut on CAD model and create curve from this. You have to evaluate whole profile from start point to end point - so scan it as curve.

Is your suggested method possible with all of these edges as a continuous feature?

I am a little lost in depth, but for this type you have to use 3D curve to correct evaluation. But you can not use edges like this.
Does drawing show which side is crucial?
