Clearance Issue

Got a hold of a Duramx with 2015 software and works great except can't figure out why it wants to clear 2'' past the cube. all my retract and clearance settings are fine.(clearance set to zero and retract set to .045-.100''). Only does this in -x , +x and problably +y and -y when I'm using star probe to check side features. The +Z clearance works fine (goes to the distance set by the cube).

Check if this diameter matches that of your probe head and ram (largest of both):

In X/Y, Calypso moves the whole probe head and stylus system behind the clearance plane, whichever is larger.
If a stylus protrudes over the head, it goes by the stylus length, if not, it uses this diameter.
