[To...] Posted October 8, 2021 Share Posted October 8, 2021 Arc motion on what? Cylinders? Calypso has always had an arc motion on cylinders in certain situations. I think I've seen it mostly when doing external cylinders and approach from a clearance plane perpendicular to the axis. Like I said, it seems to happen only in certain situations. [Cl...] Posted October 8, 2021 Author Share Posted October 8, 2021 I have two programs (One is supposed to be an exact copy of the other one). The copied version (saved in 2020) behaves differently than the original saved as 2019. 2019 travels in a straight line (Y) from one circle path to the next. The 2020 moves out in X first then along Y to the next path. Both programs have identical Clearance Group/Distance/Retract and both have Arc motion mode turned off.
