Loading Custom Excel Spreadsheets into PiWeb Reporting Plus

I have some custom excel spreadsheets for various parts with data already entered from various gages, such as a CMM, optical comparator and surface finish tester. A few questions here.

1). Is is possible to load this custom spreadsheet into PiWeb Reporting Plus? If so how is this done?

2). Challenge question, assuming I can import the custom spreadsheet into PiWeb Reporting Plus, can the data results be imported as well? I am using various gages to get the data into my excel spreadsheet.

Hi David,

You can re-create your templates in PiWeb Reporting Plus, but you can't import an Excel sheet and have it automatically generate the template for you. Once you recreate the template in PiWeb Reporting Plus, you can have your CMM data populate into that template after.

As far as external data, there is a utility called AutoImporter that can consume your data from other gauges / CMM / etc. You can also use PiWeb Monitor to enter your manual data. This is available in the full version of PiWeb SBS or Enterprise.
