[Th...]
I am new to calypso and want to edit a part program that is set up as a pallet. I edited the program, but am not seeing the change transfer to the pallet (6 stations). Should this change be automatic or do I need to re-create the pallet? Can anyone tell me how to set up a pallet?
[To...]
It should be automatic. Can you confirm that the pallet is linked to the same program that you edited? Right click on pallet icon and select pallet properties (not in front of Calypso right now)
[Th...]
Yes, it is the same program.
[Ma...]
Are you using a mini-plan in Autorun? Did you add any newly created characteristics to the mini-plan? Just guessing.....
[Th...]
Yes, I am using Auto run, but the only edits I made to the Main program were shifting a scan by about .200mm and reduced the speed. No adjustments of characteristics, nor running a mini plan...
[Th...]
Have you reloaded any of the pallet plans? I'm not confident in this, but I have a vague memory rattling around that last time I modified a program while I had an Autorun pallet open elsewhere, the pallet didn't update to match right away. [Th...]
I closed the auto run screen when editing, but am hesitant to delete the icon and reload as I do not know how to recreate the pallet.
[No...]
Closing the Autorun window (and not having it open anywhere else) should be sufficient. Are you using macros in the measurement plan?
[Ow...]
Link to a few PDF files on how to use auto-run. viewtopic.php?f=23&t=4612
[Lo...]
When I was using a palletized autorun, anytime I had to edit the program I had to re set up the pallet. Sort of refreshing the link between the pallet and the program. Not sure if this makes sense but it was the only way I found to update the pallet, running several parts at once. [No...]
Well, we measure a number of palletized parts, but I never noticed anything like this. I could imagine problems when you make changes to the program which affect the base alignment, since Autorun must be able to calculate the offset between pallet system and base alignment. This only happens during the definition of the pallet and is not updated automatically (because the offset is stored in the Autorun file - which by the way is a dangerous thing in my opinion - imagine you edit the Autorun file on another machine with different alignment actuals - oops, offset accidentally changed! Happened to me a few times)

[Ow...]
Been a while but, I've had a similar issue (not auto run) if the programs are stored and ran off of a network server.
