D'oh!!
In the Input Parameter box, once we enter the info it has always stayed till part to part we change it.
We must have turned off something that keeps the info entered from part to part, we manually change the Part Number, everything else stays the same till we change jobs.
We have looked in Resources but can not locate what is need to keep the Input Parameters populated from part to part.
Please see the screenshot.

Seems like I have lost in translation - what is your problem?
While you are not using autorun with pallet system, then every change in this dialog will be saved and showned in next run.

I've never seen that happen.
If it just mysteriously started happening, I'd start with the basics (my basics anyhow) of fixing/identifying Calypso problems that occur for no reason.
1. Restart everything (fixes a lot of issues, especially memory issues).
2. If the CMM computer is hooked up to the internet or any kind of network, check for windows updates or I.T. network security changes, etc that may have caused calypso to run differently.

If that doesn't fix it, I'd call the help line at 1-800-327-9735.

Possibly the .GRA file got corrupted??
Open Resource>Define Custon>Printout head and open your VPHEAD.GRA file (if thats the one you are using) and make sure your Customer, Description, Drawing number, Part number, Part Rev are all created correctly.

Then open Resource>Define Printout>Custom Printout and make sure you are grabbing the correct (default) report window.

After that, i dont know where that bit of data is stored.

  • 7 months later...
This may be a bit hard to explain in a post but I'll try......

In my case the fix was going into the userfields file that is located in \CALYPSO\protocol\protform and making sure there were no extra tabs after each line. When using the right arrow key the cursor should flow from one line to the next with no gaps between.

I deleted all of the extra tabs and it fixed the issue for me.
