Process Monitor Emergency: No Space Left

That's the error message we received. Thing is, Calypso was sitting idle. There was other software running that may have taxed the machine resources. Could that be the source of the error?

It's possible that you ran out of memory. Odd though. I've seen this in the past...distant past. That processes just load up ram but usually the swap file negotiates this. What processes are running? Was backup part of this? How much ram have you got?
I'd say if you have more than 4 gig of ram there is something else at play. Have tech check for "buggies", they'll loop you right out of space in no time.
Also, how often do you reboot. Windows handles memory poorly. A reboot helps keep thing clean.

Are you running out of hard drive space? While I have never had that particular error, I have had error talking about being out of space. It turned out that the hard drive was full.

It would be awfully goofy wording for "No Space Left" to be referring to RAM. It is more likely to be disk space I think. I have a feeling it was a freak accident with dumping temporary files from the other software.

i just got the same error and came looking here,

cant see how it was solved? just close and continue?

there are more option as to proceed all pause, proceed all and close and close?

this happened to me while saving a very large program that i don't have any back up for.

i did some adjustment and clicked save. it went for a while and then this came up.

i am using network to save and there is infinite space

Sorry, that was two years ago, and I don't even remember starting this thread. My guess is that yes, just closing and continuing is what we did.

I was saving some CAD settings and Calypso locked up on me so I had to end task. I got this message now too and Calypso will not open. I've restarted, shut down, unplugged power and nothing. Anyone know the solution?

After a computer reboot you still get the error? Seems like something is wrong there. You might want to install the latest service pack.

Did all that, we found out that the config file ended up being corrupted from me hitting "save as system settings" in regard to the CAD settings that they suggest you NOT do hahahaha, my issue was I was working too fast with the buttons as per usual and boom. The file that ended up corrupted was in the Environment folder.

Just another reason to backup the 4 files.

That's interesting. I'm glad that you got it figured out.

I've used that button before, and thankfully nothing broke, but most of the time it doesn't even work. Lol.

Thank you for the heads up, I will be more cautious going forward.

I just ran into this today and was beating my head against the desk trying to figure it out.

Copied the Config file from another machine, and back in business.
