[Em...]
Hello, I have two two (point) components ("component 1" and "component 2") and I would like to know the relative displacement of "component 2" along a coordinate axis or axes of "component 1". Is there an option to transform the dispalcement(s) of the "component 2" to the global or the local coordinate system of "component 1"? Can it be done with "6DoF" and how? [Iv...]
Hello Emir, you have to create for each component a local coordinate system. Be aware to tack the component to the coordinate system to follow the movement of component itself. Afterwards you can create a "distance" while using the 6DoF analysis. Your coordinate system 1 is your reference system and you will check the displacement and rotation of the second one in comparison to the first one. The rotation order is Y-X-Z.
