[Ma...]
Hello here experts 😉 I'd like to hear your suggestions how to handle these real and simplified examples. ADD-ON: these are forged metal parts - sandblasted. We sometimes struggle with evaluation - many parts with different dimensions, but they have this in common. Some of drawings are really old ( 20y+ ) so we can not oppose now with customer on bad drawing. We use ISO, but I'd like to hear for ASME too. Thanks for any help 😉 -------------^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^------------ This "ex_2.png" i tried to measure cylinders as 2 circles on ends to get coordinates and diameter - also used in curves to bestfit for base A. Then i measured them as 3d curve - created theoretical cylinder with corrected coordinates from first cylinder and recalled meas. points from curve. Then used profile callout. --------------------------------------------------------

[SH...]
What is your datum A? Mid point, line ?. For 3D profile DRF completely constrained. I think freefrom surface with its own alignment will work.
[Ma...]
For datum A is symmetry of those 2 cylinders. I've posted 2 pictures of 2 parts, so it's not one part 😉
