[Ja...]
I am trying to update calypso from 2016 to latest 2021. I had measured a part about 5 months ago on 2016 version. I saved those points in .zmp file and ran subsequent evaluation using these measured points on 2021 version. Use piweb custom report from zeiss academy to compare results from both versions. I got two things that did not match (see attached pics): 1) True position of Datum -B- (Datum -B- is a cylinder and location is measured to one datum only i.e. Datum -A- which is a plane with 3 points) Datum -A- is primary datum, datum -B- is secondary datum, datum -C- is tertiary datum in base alignment. 2) surface profile x,y,z point values of a cylindrical surface (alignment uses geometry best fit alignment to the feature itself (all evaluation constraints checked) to simulate no datum profile characteristics) I can see that surface profile might just be giving me another point with same deviation and that might be why only x,y,z values are off. But, I do not know why TP of datum -B- is different. Did Zeiss change anything with how it calculates TP to one datum? (All other TP characteristics uses atleast 2 datums A and B and they all match in the comparison report )Screenshot 2021-08-16 121454.pngScreenshot 2021-08-16 101910.png
