Cannot make an intersection point

Depending on the actual form of the part, they may or may not intersect the way Calypso sees it. Try using tangent in the construction drop down menu.

If the manufacturing is tangential: make a theoretical plane at the actual center of the circle perpendicular to the line, then intersect it with the same circle or with a curve if you want a more accurate result..

Wow.. both of you guys' methods worked. Learnt something new. Thanks

Jayesh Patel, I tried your strategy but it giving a result to the left or right of the intersection.. but not on the intersection

Thats weird. it should have given you one point only, unless the plane is not tangent to the circle in the CAD model itself. Can you try deleting actual points of the circle and then select it again in the intersection construction dialog box?

Jayesh, I deleted the circle and plane and redid them and this time I'm getting only one intersection at center. Not sure what caused the issue the first time but it's working properly now. Appreciate it.
