[Da...]
Do you mean drawing revision? You can just use mini-plans. It can be easy, or a real pain, depending on how extensive the changes are. For simple changes (diameter changes etc.) mini-plans will be easy. Create a diameter tolerance for Rev A, and a second for Rev B, and use the mini-plan to select between them. If the diameters are close, you can probably just use the same feature. If you have significant differences (holes moving, changing size significantly, etc), then you can still do it, but you will need separate features and it can get really confusing to program and maintain if you are not diligent about organizing and naming your features/characteristics. [Ja...]
CHECK OUT ZEISS PORTAL : KNOWLEDGE BASE SEARCH FOR MEASUREMENT PLAN VERSIONING look into this article: CALYPSO: How To Set Up Measurement Plan Versioning Luis Hernandez-Balderrama here is the details without pictures: How to Set up and use Measurement plan versioning CALYPSO 2020 This function enables the ability to “freeze” versions or variants of a measurement plan and locally save them as fixed, unchangeable revisions. A revision can be opened at any time and executed. When versioning is activated, a user can either open the working copy or one of the revisions. The inspection file in the measurement plan directory is referred to as a working copy. It represents the current most recent version of measurement plan processing and is identical to the "normal" measurement plan without versioning. Start Versioning an inspection Plan go to: Extras --> Settings --> Miscellaneous This will open the Miscellaneous window. On the second tab, you will see “local versioning”. Check the box and click apply. This will allow you to begin versioning your inspection plans. This activates versioning for all the programs on the workstation. From this point forward every time the inspection plan is saved, the operator will be prompted by the following question. By selecting yes, a “Commit” window will open, allowing the programmer to add a brief description of the changes made. Selecting the “Details” button CALYPSO opens an extra window where a more detailed description of the changes that were made can be entered. Managing revisions requires the opening of at least one other measurement plan version. To open the overview window open program with multiple revisions. From here the “Revision Overview” window will appear with useful information on the changes made and when the changes were committed to the version. If you need to do something other than open a revision or continue working on the current version right click the version you would like to modify and select you next option. Opening an older revision of the measurement plan will prompt this question window. This is because working on a past revision does not create a branch versioning path rather brings that version and edits to the top and becomes the working copy. E.g. if you have 5 versions and want to work on the 2.0 copy then save it that copy becomes version 6.0, not version 2.1. This is a great was to track, modify, and improve your measurement plans in calypso 2020.
