[Ti...] Posted July 30, 2022 Share Posted July 30, 2022 Our 2nd CT scanner just got set up last week. It has 2020 GOM Inspect Pro attached to it so far. Our main CT scanner is running 2021 GOM Inspect Pro. The scripts to capture the scans at this points have just been copied over from the 2021 version. The first CT scan using these scripts caused an error message. Does the new CT scan computer need to be updated to 2021? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
[Ja...] Posted July 31, 2022 Share Posted July 31, 2022 In general, projects or templates created in 2021 software will not open in older software. This is generally true for any release , no backwards compatibility. There are also syntax changes in scripts that can happen. There is a tool to help change code going forwards , but not backwards.
