Measurement Duration

I'm confused as to why Measurement Duration isn't logged in the PiWeb Report Plus Database - it is logged into the PiWeb SBS/Enterprise database though.

Anyone know a quick way to get the Measurement Duration onto the report to be logged/tracked?

I tried using PCM with a Start and End time characteristic and it didn't work correctly - most likely my inexperience with PCM.

I did find a thread that Roberto commented on using PCM to create a file with the Measurement Duration. That works well, but I'd really like for it to be a value on the report that I'm able to pull from the database.

Thanks.

It should be already. I just pulled up some Piweb data on my Contura seat with Reporting Plus and runtime is logged for all entries.

It's stored somewhere internally, but I do not see a field for it, so when you export data, you cannot see it.

Let me double check though. It is second Monday after all.

Do you need to reference the K-variables when you export out of the database? The call in the standard report template is ${Qdb.Property("MeasurementDuration")} but I've never tried to pull anything out of Piweb.

It looks like it's a stored value but I can not figure out the K value attributed to that field.

If you're looking for the Measurement Duration values.... I created a quick Measurement Table in a NewProtocol.ptx,

I can very easily export this data using a button with the action --> Export Table Data to Excel --> Measurement Table --> View (text only)

If you're looking to sum the minutes - could you just try using the List.Sum function and total up the amount of time spent? Making assumptions on what you're trying to accomplish by exporting the time values.

Hope this helps?

That is so stupid. 🙁 Lol

Why isn't it listed in the database for PiWeb Report Plus, but it is once the same exact data is synchronized to the server?

Good to know that it will export with a Measurement Table though.

Thanks, Laura.
