[Ja...] Posted July 23, 2021 Share Posted July 23, 2021 I have a long cylinder about 4 inches and a plane running parallel to cylinder axis. I need distance from cylinder to plane. I have tried approaching different ways but getting different readings is confusing me. Plane length is also about 4 inches in direction of cylinder axis but is only about 1 inch wide. Parallelism between features is about .001. Plane lies about 5 inches away from the cylinder end. I am thinking that parallelism is playing a role in determining the distance due the plane being far from cylinder end. What is the best approach to go about this? any ideas or thoughts. [Ro...] Posted July 23, 2021 Share Posted July 23, 2021 I like to use Position for this with additional report turned on to get the actual value.
