[Me...]
Just one job has this issue. The default printout does not show up when the program starts. Personally I don't care I've never used it in evaluating. But anything that changes causes me to make sure it's not leading to other issues. [Ow...]
With the program open go to Resources, Define Report, go to the 3rd tab on top, Default Report and make sure it's not check-boxed to hide in the background.

Its incredibly annoying at times, and i wish i could just make it all go away.
[Ow...]
There was a couple versions where the default "hide in back-ground" didn't work and it was frustrating. I haven't had the problem since going to version 2020.
[Me...]
Thanks Owen that was it. I wasn't even aware of that. But I'll be using it more.

Kevin, you probably caused a bunch of people's hearts to skip a beat with joy when they heard "Default Printout disappeared". LOL This printout has probably been one of the most controversial items in Calypso over the years. HA

I don't know why people don't like default print out , might be they underestimating default print out.
[Ow...]
Yes, the default printout is a good tool that shows the type of filters used, outlier removal points, amount of measurement points, max point and min point number, for every feature. It's great to request it when comparing your program results to another zeiss CMM's reports when looking for what might be causing differences. Regarding Tom's comment, yes, it's been frustrating to many because there was a couple Calypso versions where it wouldn't hide in the background (if chosen to) and every-time you run a program it would pop-up and remain on the screen indefinitely until you closed it and if you run a lot of parts just minimizing it, you'd sped a significant amount of unneeded time closing each report individually. The other annoyance with the default report is that if you are in a hurry and accidently clicked the print button in the top menu of calypso, it would report every single page of the default report since the last time calypso was restarted and sometimes that could be hundreds of pages. 😮

I'll take a copy of a long program with me to the dentist. Prep me for the pain!
