[Me...]
Anyone know how to move to a position and rotate similar to the end park function using PCM?
[Cl...]
I'm pretty sure I remember seeing something about this subject in the PCM forum a while back.
[Cl...]
Here's the position part. Not sure about the rotate part? "positionCMM(x,y,z)" in the post-settings.

[Me...]
Is there a way to test PCM code like these moves to see what happens?

[Me...]
Is it possible to only do a positionCMM in the Z direction? My goal is after the program is complete, position the current probe in z to a specific location, rotate to the down probe and the position it in x and y to a safe place. I know about the end park but I'm not a fan.

[Ow...]
I don't use a RDS and it may be totally irrelevant to what you want but, I'll share anyway. RDS Swivel Position In some cases, it may be necessary to move the RDS head to a particular location to perform its swivel due to clearance issues with other parts, fixtures, or the bridge. If this becomes necessary, it can be accomplished using a special navigation tool for RDS Swivel Position. Decide upon a safe position that will work for all rotations. Go to PLAN/NAVIGATION/RDS SWIVEL POSITION. CREATE NEW Choose the icon that looks like a bent probe with the letters MK. This stands for probe position in machine coordinates. It’s probably best to specify swivel position in machine coordinates since your part coordinate system will vary depending upon part placement. Pos. MPrb.MC Open this and teach the machine your safe swivel location. As soon as you open, the current probe location is read in. If you need to edit the position, you’re able to update the numbers. Now this location will be used for all probe swivels in your program! To delete unwanted swivel positions or to rename them, go to PLAN/NAVIGATION/NAVIGATION PATHS LIST.
