Going to look at V 7.2. Went out to the portal and did all the mumbo jumbo to get me a new license. The status has been in the "In Progress" stage for 30 min.
How long are you guys having to wait for a new updated license? The old email sent me back this..

1. Visit „License Manager“ Feature
2. Open „Activate & Return“ Tab
3. Upload your XML file(s) and get immediate response!

I am assuming I will get this xml file when the In progress stage ends???? First time using the portal for upgrades..

Mike,

That sounds vaguely familiar to what happened to me late last year. I think I had to call Zeiss directly and the tech had to manually force the response.

I've requested the 2021 licenses yesterday and got an e-mail with a zip attached in about 10-15 minutes.
The process (here in Germany) is not automatic. After clicking the request button (or whatever it was called) I got a message to the effect that it's sent in for approval. So I guess somebody (Sonny?) at Zeiss needs to click another button first.

Historically, Zeiss released new versions of Calypso (German) at the Control show in May. Then, the English version in late summer. However, with COVID, many things are different, i.e. 1 service pack for 2019???. Maybe you can't get a license because it is too early.

Mike, I had the same thing happen to me. I eventually got all 4 licenses but one of them had the wrong serial number. I sent an email to Zeiss and we're working on getting the right license now.

Thanks for all the replies. I ended going to Ol Mother Zeiss. I have a ticket pulled and hopefully I can get this resolved today.
Miss the good ol days when it was emailed to me and I would be up and running. Gone are those days apparently.

Same thing happened to me. Called Zeiss, they said the portal was having issues. They manually pushed it through. Never got an email but the Entitlement ID was updated, which I just copied into the Activator.

Now the portal doesn't even show our licenses though. Not sure what the issue is but they're having all kinds of problems.

I was never able to get licenses automatically, there was always either a timeout issue or something else. Had to get the by email
