[Ja...]
Hi Guys, I want to upgrade Calypso from 2016 to the latest 2021. It's my first time trying to upgrade the software. 1) Do you perform software validation ( Running program on same part with old and new software and comparing results to look for changes)? 2) Do you prefer to install new software without uninstalling old one? Any specific reason? Thanks for the inputs!

[Me...]
I'm with Keith. Also I do install w/o removing older version. In case I need to roll back. I've had 2 issues in doing so. One was new version bombed big time. This was back in the 3.something era. I had to roll back. The other was of the two machines I brought up the newer ver. One did have a conflict. Of the dozens of up grades this was the only time that not removing the old was a problem. I will still load with older version staying.
