Modal Hammer Testing

Can the ODS script be used similar to a modal hammer test?  I am not a vibration expert but it appears to work very well.

Could DIC be incorporated into modal hammer tools or as an analog plug in?

Using targets would remove the problem of added mass from accelerometers.
