Fast probe mode on vast xxt

Hello everyone is there a way to use vast xxt in touch trigger mode.I used that on scanning head on hexagon cmm .It was called fast probe mode.it would then run as an older to 20 probe

You select "single points" in the feature strategy

Thanks that does points but doesn't act like a touch trigger probe it still measures till it reaches certain pressure and then registers point.I.don t know if it's possible with vast xxt

The release notes of the new Calypso 2021 have something about fast touch probing with XXT. But I believe it's an option, and I don't remember if it is what you ask for.

Touch trigger probes are different by design. They use switches that open upon contact or piezo elements that listen for probe contact. XXT sensors only work based on a certain amount of deflection, i.e. Standard 150um, Sensitive 100um and Robust 200um.

As Norbert mentioned , the new "fast" option will shorten the time it takes to take a point but is only intended for measurements where less accuracy is acceptable.
