What other settings make sense, to ensure that I am not flexing the part, during measurement? If you're using a Vast scanning head there's a setting in measurement plan editor for Elastic Parts Force . I've never used it but, I believe it's supposed to take two or more points to see if the part moves to determine force???. Good luck. It takes two points with different forces and calculates back to force zero. No idea how to handle scanning...
