CAD Evaluation

Has anyone else noticed the CAD evaluation not showing what the characteristic is saying? I have seen diameters out of tolerance but the cad evaluation shows very good. I just added two characteristics for a cartesian distance between two planes. One distance evaluated at outer tangent and the other distance evaluated at inner tangent to get the min and max. The max was out of tolerance and the min was in but in the CAD evaluation the max shows low points and the min shows high points with a few out of the tolerance zone. I have grown to have very little faith in the CAD evaluation. It makes me less confident about what Calypso is doing behind the scenes.

I don't use CAD evaluation much. When I do I always have to fiddle with it. Calypso is VERY particular, which gives me confidence in it. I have yet to get a perpendicular to show. If I make an assumption Calypso sometimes plays along, other times I get an Error Report 🤣

I swear Zeiss could make a thousand page sub-manual on each chapter of the thousand page manual.

As far as I know the evaluation display in the CAD window ALWAYS refers to the base alignment.
If this has changed in the meantime, please correct me...

If you use profile, then it differs with used alignment. But for flatness and other basic features it's not working.
But if is anybody curious about how is plane treated with outer tangencial, then I think you have to use feat. like profile, where you choose new alignment of just use element as alignment.

There is a bug where it doesn't display correctly if you use a Min/Max tolerance (most of the time it will show flipped). Switching to a ± tolerance will correct this.
